Job Description

Job OverviewReporting to the COO you will have responsibility for the leadership of the operational HR team working across the businesses providing guidance coaching and support in relation to complex HR issues.Job PurposeWorking with the Senior Executive team, and implementing an HR Business Partnering model to develop, deliver and people plans ensuring consistency, efficiency and process improvement across the businesses.You will be responsible for directing the creation of the business’ Training & Development programme for all employees and will be responsible for payroll for all.You will be responsible for refining, developing and delivering the HR Strategy and providing evaluation and feedback.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesHR System

  • All recruitment activities
  • Ensure standardised offer letters, contracts, policies and procedures including Staff Handbook
  • onboarding process and induction
  • ongoing review of salary and benefit packages, including marketplace benchmarking and levelling
  • formal review process for performance and appraisal
  • recording of leavers and reasons including exit interviews and analysis
  • employee engagement survey, providing outcomes and reporting
  • Monitoring and reporting
  • staff turnover and retention strategy, where necessary recommending any mitigating actions
  • develop a reward strategy to align with company performance - commission bias, including regular salary benchmarking exercise
  • results of staff surveys, employee engagement and exit interviews providing improvement actions and mitigation strategies
  • development and rollout of long-term incentive plan (e.g. share ownership to differentiate staff base for any UK competitor)
  • explore potential to develop own "Academy" to attract good quality Apprentices, School Leavers and Graduates into the Group
  • Board reports to provide overview of all geographic areas
  • Training & Development
  • Development and management of training & development programme across the Group
  • Executive team coaching
  • Senior Management development programme
  • Core business training rollout including MA live, Viewing Live
  • Implement consistent induction programme for the Group
  • Monitor compliance training with maintenance regulations
  • Manage and organise compliance training for the Group including GDPR, Anti Bribery, Cyber Security and Health & Safety
  • Acquisition support and integration
  • Provide support, via the HRBP structure, for acquisition including TUPE, alignment of benefits, onboarding and management of any redundancy process
  • Develop relationships with Regional CEOs to ensure integration of personnel
  • Work with the Acquisitions Team on an agile basis
  • HR Business Partners
  • Develop a structure to support the Group, including all teams and regions
  • Appoint and manage HR Business Partners
  • Work with administrators/operational personnel to ensure clear guidelines of responsibilities and roles relating to all HR matters
