Job Description

Elevation HR are delighted to be partnering with one of the leading UK care companies to recruit the position of Head of HR. Reporting into the CEO the role will have responsibility for the full HR agenda.Managing a HR team, the Head of HR will be responsible for leading and implementing the People Plan and the achievement of all the strategic people related targets.Key activities will include:

  • Contribute to the SLT on the overall people agenda and strategy
  • Closely manage and develop the HR team
  • Be responsible for all HR operations, systems, process and administration
  • Providing expert guidance on legislation, HR policy and compliance
  • Influence, advise and support the visions and values and people aspects of organisational change, structures, people processes and business improvement initiatives in order to improve business efficiency and people management allowing for flexibility andplanned growth
  • Develop effective working relationships, influencing and challenging managers on the development and implementation of their people plans in support of the achievement of business goals and HR strategy
  • Design and implement effective communication and engagement strategies
To be successful in this role we’re looking for:
  • MCIPD or equivalent
  • Experience of operating successfully in Head of HR / People Leadership roles
  • Experience of working in the care sector desirable
  • Demonstrable evidence of successfully leading and inspiring HR teams
  • Proven experience of leading and successfully landing HR strategies, delivery of people agenda and best in class practices
  • You should be robust, agile and resilient as well as open, collaborative and confident.
