Head Of Business Development - Venues and Stadia - Yorkshire and Midlands - Salary on application

Our clientoperates at venues of all sizes and have exclusivity at prominent sporting, entertainment and culturallocations across the UK and is part of aglobal leader inthe delivery of live entertainment and events.Thye are seeking a Head Of Business Development to oversee and drive all sales related activity across the company in the North and Midlands.The role is responsible for:
  • The performance of all sales and marketing activities and acquisition of new contracts.
  • Leading the sales teams at different locations to achieve maximum profitability and growth.
  • Establishing plans and strategies to expand the customer base.
  • Contributing to the personaldevelopment of colleagues and ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures andbusiness ethics codes.Working with the Marketing Coordinator to deliver more customers to their venues.
  • Personally acquiring between 1 and 3 (size dependent-£1m+ aggregate turnover) new contracts per annum
  • Developing an annual sales strategy that ensures attainment of sales goals and profitability.
Experience required:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in multiple Food and Beverage operational management
  • Entrepreneurial flair and business acumen
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of budgeting and margin control
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Computer literate and IT experience
