Job Description

GP Liaison Officer - GPLO | Salary DOE | Yorkshire Region | Full Time | Must be able to drive |Spire Healthcare have a newly created role for a GP Liaison Officer for our Yorkshire Hubthis role will be split across our 3 Yorkshire Hospitals: Spire Leeds, Spire Methley Park and Spire Elland.Duties and responsibilities:The purpose of the Hub GP Liaison Officer will be to drive referral activity and revenue growth for the HUB hospitals. To achieve this the PCRM will;

  • Build positive relationships with third party referrers which includes but is not limited to GPs, practice management personnel, Allied Health professionals
  • Positioning the Spire North East HUB as the number one choice for patients
  • Support the HUB Sales & Business Development Director (HSBDD) to deliver their activity targets through ongoing engagement including face to face and virtual GP appointments, driving face to face and zoom education and patient events and tracking referraland activity trend shifts
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for growth through intelligence gathering
  • Support the full utilization of HUB outreach clinics in GP premises, cross fertilizing from HUB consultants for maximum gain, and identifying new opportunities

  • Strong communication skills, demonstrating an ability to positively engage in stakeholder relationship management
  • Balance the role demands and display excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Able to Analyse and interpret data
  • Experience of working within primary care or public health to deliver health and wellbeing services
  • Similar experience within a clinical or healthcare environment
  • Experience of events and seminar management
  • Ability to influence diverse audiences
