Goods In OperativeReports to: Goods In SupervisorDepot: LeedsMain DutiesThe Goods In Operative is a key role within the depot operations. Working closely with the Goods In team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all inbound stock is accurately received and all relevant WMS processes are followed. Functionswithin this role include:Playing your part in the day to day running of the In-bound team. Engaging with all initiatives which monitor the quality, quantity, cost effectiveness and efficiency of the movement & storage of goods.Ensuring you engage in supporting the smooth flow of inbound goods receipt, put-away & replenishment alongside minimising depot breakages. Ensuring depot hygiene standards are being followed.Engaging with site management on all matters relating to H&S & compliance.Working closely with other departments – especially the Outbound Team.Key SkillsFlexibility – an ability to plan ahead and be proactive.A good understanding of relevant areas of the BY WMS – particularly, receiving, staging, put-away & replenishmentA desire to be an example and develop your skills.Commitment – a strong desire to see a job through to completion.
