Reporting to the General Manager - Flight Safety, the Flight Safety Investigator will be responsible for conducting high quality, robust safety investigations, consistent with the Jet2.comSafety Management System (SMS) and in line with our Just Culture policy. This key position may also be required to deputise for the Flight Safety Manager in any discipline or forum.You will work closely with our Flight Operations Team to conduct investigations into all Flight Safety occurrences, determining the Root Cause and to recommend Corrective and Preventative actions. The Flight Safety Investigator will analyse and assess safety data, review regulatory standards and advise in the implementation of revised regulatory requirements. As the primary point of contact in any significant event safety investigation,you will professionally publish Preliminary and Final Safety Investigation Reports in a timely manner.In addition, you will also be able to seamlessly communicate with the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB), our regulators and industry colleagues and to participate in aviation safety forums.You will have significant experience in conducting Safety Investigations including Human Factors aspects, within the airline industry or other highly regulated industry. With the ability to accurately analyse data, including the use of DataMonitoring programs, you will also possess excellent communication and presentation skills. Ideally you will also have a comprehensive knowledge of aviation legislation, regulations and protocol of both UK and EASA regulatory authorities and currently hold,or have held, a Commercial Pilots Licence.In return, we offer a excellent salary and benefits package with fantastic opportunities for progression in a growing business.This is a great opportunity to be part of an exciting forward thinking business.
