Job Description

Financial ControllerLocation: LeedsSalary: £70,000 - £80,000 + Bonus & Benefits Elevation Senior Finance is currently looking to recruit a Financial Controller in Leeds on behalf of a global business that is set for continual growth over the next few years both in the UK and Globally. This is a fast-paced role that will form a cruciallink between finance and the wider business. Producing the month-end results, whilst ensuring the board receives value-adding management reports which drive decision-making. Key duties and responsibilities will include: • Leadership of the finance team, staff mentoring/ training/ personal development and building resilience through role-sharing and succession planning • Continuous improvement of an effective control environment to manage financial, operational and business risks • Monthly management reporting, providing insightful business performance analysis to the management team and Board • Cashflow management comprising short-term forecasting and longer-term projections • Improve the communication and sharing of financial information across the group and its operational leaders • Managing the preparation and review of accounts for those within Financial Integration and moving these into the centralised model • Building new processes across the wider finance team • Provide advice and guidance to colleagues and management teams The successful Financial Controller will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences: • Qualified ACA /CIMA/ACCA • Experience in leading, mentoring and developing a finance team • A team player, leading by example, with the ability to bring out the best in others • Excellent presentation skills • Detail-oriented as well as seeing the bigger picture • Track record of managing and improving effective and controlled processes • Experience in business systems reviews and implementation • High energy levels, resilient, self-motivated, proactive This role offers flexible working 2 Days in the office!
