Job Description

Sewell Wallis are partnering with an international organisation who are looking to recruit a Financial Analyst into their UK Head Office team in Leeds.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual, ideally CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified and the role will provide accounting, financial, analytical, and commercial support to the Finance and Technology teams.Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, your key responsibilities will include:-

  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Ensuring Balance Sheet integrity is maintained throughout the year supporting with the quarterly balance sheet review process
  • Maintaining and operating financial models
  • Supporting with ongoing commercial analysis to capture value, be that through identifying process improvements, revenue/cost leakage issues, and or modelling scenarios to support management in decision making
  • Providing support in liaising with Management and Leadership teams
  • Preparing analysis to provide insight and support decision making
  • Contributing to the monthly forecasting process and annual business planning cycle
Requirements
  • Ideally fully qualified, CIMA / ACCA / ACA
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Ability to maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Willing to learn and take on new challenges
  • Excellent presentation and organisational skills
