Finance Manager/Management Accountant - Leeds - Hybrid

My client is a leading service based business, who are well established within their industry. With offices to the south of Leeds City Centre, this business has experienced a strong period of growth and as a result are looking to grow by adding a FinanceManager/Management Accountant to their long standing, existing finance team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is ideally AAT qualified/qualified by experience or is studying ACCA/CIMA and has a proven background within management accounts. You will join a business where you will be challenged and will be able to get involved in all areas of finance. There will be an element of business partnering involved along with some analysis work. The main focus of the role will be to ensure the managementaccounts are produced to a high standard within the timescales given, however there will also be an element of supporting the transactional side and getting hands on and involved with that side of the business when required. Study Support will be consideredfor the right candidate and hybrid/potentially remote working can be supported.Main duties will initially include but are not limited to the following :-Key responsibilities of the role are --Preparation and support in the production and presentation of monthly management accounts including journals, reconciliations, variance analysis and monthly balance sheet reconciliations-Assisting in the production and delivery of the monthly management information pack-Preparing and delivering accurate profit and loss accounts with analysis and commentaries-Business partnering with the operations team and the wider finance team and providing reports and analysis for them-Producing KPIs-Overseeing elements of the Transactional Accounts Team and ensuring that their work is of a certain quality and that targets and deadlines are maintained-Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting processes-Ad-hoc project work and financial analysis as required -Providing support to the Senior Management team as and when requiredThe ideal candidate will --Be AAT qualified/ qualified by experience or will be studying CIMA/ACCA and will have previous experience of a management accounts based role-Be looking to join a growing business where no day is the same-Have excellent IT skills, with strong Excel skills-Have excellent communication skills and will be able to deal with stakeholders at all levelsFor more information please contact Gemma WatmoughTo apply please send your CV, quoting our reference and specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
