Job Description

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working alongside a leading business based in Leeds. It is an exciting time for this organisation and, due to continued growth, they are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a full timepermanent basis. Benefits include:

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Perform monthly bookkeeping
  • Arranging the authorisation of invoices to be paid
  • Setting up supplier payments on the banking system
  • Managing the email inbox on the portfolio of companies
  • Produce monthly P&L, balance sheet and working papers
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders at different remote locations on issues such as stock, receipts, petty cash
  • Produce annual accounts
  • Company Secretarial duties
  • Producing and filing quarterly VAT returns
  • Count, record and reconcile petty cash
Key Skills & Experience Required:
  • Good IT skills in the use of Excel, Quickbooks, Xero, Powerpoint
  • Experienced in a similar role, Accountancy Practice background would be highly beneficial
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work in a fast paced environment
  • Qualified or working towards AAT qualification
This is a permanent position, based on a hybrid basis (2 days office, 3 days WFH after probation), Office based in LS15. Salary between £20k - £27k depending on experience & qualifications.
