Finance Analyst £24k - £30k dependent on experienceThe Company:Established in 2013, we have grown into a leading UK based payment services company offering merchant gateway services around the world. With a strong focus on quality of service we provide reliable and scalable payment solutions to businesses.The Role: We are experiencing a period of exciting growth and to support this growth we are scaling up our back office service teams. We have a brand new full time position for an enthusiastic Finance Analyst.The successful candidate will enjoy data analysis/reporting and work closely with our Finance Manager and the rest of the finance team and be responsible for assisting in delivering the finance teams deliverables.The position is based in our modern Leeds office and includes a combination of office and home working arrangements.A summary of the role includes: Building financial models Commission analysis Database maintenance Cash reporting Assisting with forecasts Margin analysis Pricing profitability analysis Responding to the wider business on analytical queries Month end routines and reportingGeneral Finance duties Reporting to and supporting the Finance Manager Preparation of financial informationWhat we need from you : Previous experience of working in financial payments environment would be a significant advantage. Accounting/bookkeeping qualifications desirable but not essential. Personable communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with customers and suppliers via telephone and email. Confident working with colleagues at all levels across the wider business and be able to communicate results.Strong analytical and numerical skills A team player that is self motivated with a desire to achieve and the ability to work on own initiative. A multi tasker Attention to detail. Experience of Sage 50, Xero or similar accounting systems. Solid Microsoft skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams etc) including essential intermediate/ advanced Excel skillsWhats on offer: £24,000 to £28000 PA depending on experience and skillset Workplace pension 22 days annual leave (rising to 25 days)in addition to bank holidays Combination of home and office working
