Job Title: Field Service EngineerLocation: Home-based (ideally located in the Midlands or North of England)Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience + BenefitsJob type: Permanent, Full timeAre you a mechanically inclined problem-solver with a background in field service or technical support Do you have a sound mechanical and electrical understandingAs a field service engineer, your primary role is to work on-site to provide installation, commissioning, training and servicing of industrial hot melt and cold glue application equipment at customer locations. Following this training, you will get to put your technical, mechanical and electrical skills to use in new and challenging situations while you interact with a wide variety of people, machines and settings.You are required to install, commission and provide training of new systems at customers factories, including modification or on-site fabrication of parts, as well as the servicing, maintenance and problem-solving of our customers existing systems.The Candidate:Excellent customer service is a vital part of this role, solving customers technical problems and questions by both telephone and email. Using your customer service skills, you will be required to identify new opportunities for the company and work alongside the operations and sales teams to develop new business.Key requirements
