Job Description

Role: Facilities Helpdesk Advisor (Charity)Location: Leeds City CentreHours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours (Mix of Home and Office based)Salary: £25,000Start date: ASAPDo you love being the first point of contact for a business Do you enjoy assisting with queries Are you so organised that your lists have listsIm currently looking for a personable, organised help desk administrator with excellent communication skills to join a Charity business based in the centre of Leeds. You will be part of a friendly and busy helpdesk so will be the first point of call forall facilities queries and directing them appropriately so your methodical way of working and flexible attitude to work will be utilised whilst specific processes are being developed. Not only that, the work you do will ensure that this charity can continueto safely offer the important services it provides.If you have demonstrable experience of working successfully within a busy facilities helpdesk and are interested in working for a charity, then I would love to hear from you to talk about this opportunity in more detail. If youre not from a facilities backgroundbut you have experience of managing high volume queries with fast turnarounds, then were also interested in hearing from you! Main Responsibilities include:

  • Be the first point of call for all incoming queries and managing them appropriately
  • Liaise between contractors, regional FMs and sites to ensure a smooth workflow
  • Engaging contractors for various on-site jobs and scheduling work to be done
  • Keep the system up to date for all works and incoming queries
  • Attend meetings with SMT and regional FM, take minutes and carry out all agreed actions e.g. ordering equipment etc.
  • Feedback to the SMT on the progress of various projects
  • Ad-hoc duties as required by the Regional FMs or SMT
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:
  • Experience within Properties or Facilities will be an advantage
  • Clear telephone voice with great communication skills
  • Ability to organise a busy workload
