Job Description

Export Operational Administration and SupportSalary: £20-25k DOE + potential bonus, pension, healthcare, 25 days holiday + BHs.Location: North West Leeds (flexible office/home working option)Start date: ASAP (looking to arrange one or two online interviews c. 28/29th Jan or w/c 1st Feb onwards).Initial contract duration: 3 months, full time, more than likely extending to 6 months and then potentially full time.Hours: ideally 9am -5.30am, 5 days a week, office / home based at the NW Leeds office.Working closely as my client’s main recruiter for 8 years, an established and reputable global retailer & manufacturer of consumer goods within healthcare/foods, toiletries to over 60 countries worldwide and offices in UK, Europe, USA, we are urgently looking to recruit an experienced administrator to provide operational support and administration for the export side of the business helping with the ongoing growth and getting through the initial wave of Brexit.Role: coveringall aspects of the export department and markets (EU, Africa, Latin America, Asia) including handling administration and order processing behind the export process for all the customers and working alongside departments including finance, operations, warehouse, stock control and ecommerce & digital marketing.Any prior "export" experience would be a nice to have as are any additional language(s) especially Spanish and perhaps an understanding/interest of Ecommerce strategy within retail (Amazon, Ebay etc) could be helpful.Personal Requirements:Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.Accuracy and attention to detail.Demonstration of integrity and ethical standards.Organisational skills.Able to work independently with some direction.Effective listening and good telephone skills.Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures.Problem-solving and analytical ability.Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities.Able to handle difficult suppliers with diplomacy and tact.Able to multi-task.High learning agility, enquiring mind and ability to deal with ambiguity required.Responsibilities and tasks:AdministrationOrder ProcessingProjects - as requiredCommunication and coordination for development of Export related enquiries or tasks to be completedSales supportMonthly updates to all partnersWeekly communications with partners / marketsAdhoc communications where neededOrder/ forecasting processProduct & Marketing SupportQuality ManagementLegal compliance/obligationsApprovals/certification for marketsPackaging developmentDocumentationIPR/TrademarkRegistrationInvolvement in NPPMaintain information libraryResearch and writing of instructions for products as requiredContribution to layout, copy, and technical illustrationsTranslation for leaflets and instructionsLogistics SupportSupply Chain/Logistics - optimise efficiencies throughExport / importing coordinationProvide all necessary shipping documentationCoordination of product sales forecast and ensure stock of spare partsCompliance SupportEnsure that all products and literature are compliant with current legislation, regulations and business needs .e.g. Trading Standards Required skills
