Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a growing global business on the recruitment of an Expeditor to be the key point of communication between Procurement, Production and Stores. You will be joining their small team in Leeds. They offer trainingand development opportunities and have a welcoming work environment. Some of the perks include benefit, holiday entitlement and finishing at 12.30pm on a Friday!To expedite late materials in order of priority, working closely with the buyers to ensure material flow continuity and avoid Production down time and keeping shortages to a minimum.To act as the key coordinator between the Production, Procurement and Stores departments to ensure that all material shortages are reviewed, analysed, expedited, and communicated to ensure effective Production Planning.You duties will include but not be limited to - *You will be ensuring that all material shortages are reviewed, analyse, expedited and communicated to ensure effective Pro*To expedite all material shortages in line with the production plan*To communicate with all suppliers to expedite material shortages in line with the production plan, IVA and PTS dates*Amend all delivery dates on SAP*Review all material shortages and identify and analyse all critical shortages affecting the Production Plan*To communicate critical shortages to the Buyers and Production Teams in advance so that alternative plans can be made*To communicate with Stores department and ensure all critical shortages are fast tracked into Production*To ensure the shortage sheet data is accurate and anything affecting this accuracy is communicated to the relevant HOD i.e. goods receipts and NCR processingThe ideal candidate for this role will have the following attributes:*A knowledge of MRP process, ideally in SAP *A good sound knowledge of Procurement, Production and Planning process*Excellent communication skills*Analytical skills would be very desirable*Experience in a similar expeditor position would be an advantageElevation Business Support is a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment Group focusing on the recruitment of talented Business Support professionals across all levels.
