Job Description

Are you passionate and driven Executive Assistant who is always aiming to be one step aheadDo you want to be at the centre of a leading retail organisation and have the opportunity to facilitate the strategy and success of its future About the RoleIn this highly sought after Executive Assistant role, you will support the Chief Merchandising Officer (CMO) in the efficient and effective running of the Commercial Food and GM function.This is a fast paced, varied role where no two days are ever the same. You will work closely with the CMO, understanding their expectations and helping to manage their relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Youll ensure the smooth running of the CMOs meetings and will be responsible for:

  • Drafting agendas, managing invitations and distribution of supporting documentation.
  • Minute taking and the management of status updates of actions.
  • Management of the CMOs diary meeting priorities and travel arrangements finding workable solutions and prioritising accordingly.
  • In addition to this you will have responsibility for managing internal and external communications channels, including digital platforms, and prepare speeches and draft presentations for the CMO. Youll manage all correspondence, responding to Customers, Colleagues and Suppliers on behalf of the CMO.Alongside a number of colleagues, you will work cross functionally to track and report on KPIs and 5 year plan initiatives. You will be able to identify potential risks/opportunities and provide data to support crucial decision making. You will also manage the annual budget cycle process, creating and updating dashboards to monitor performance.About YouThe successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in providing comprehensive EA support at Executive or Board level and be able evidence how you ‘Walk in the shoes of an Exec partner to predict whats needed and ensure the smooth running of the function.A high degree of confidentiality is absolutely essential, as is strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to work at pace in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment. Youll be confident using and learning various software packages, including word processing.
