Urgent Job Vacancy - Senior Events Manager - Conference Manager - Communications and Events Manager - 6 months

  • Locations Hybrid: Leeds, London, Birmingham, Manchester and Norwich- Start: ASAP. You will need to be able to travel to events

Client DetailsA public sector organisationDescriptionAs an Events Manager; you have an opportunity to join a fantastic team and to help with a number of events and engagement channels. You will deliver staff conferences as well as smaller internal engagement opportunities. You will also attend a large yearlyevent, where you will need to plan the guest speaker opportunities and meetings with key stakeholders.As an Events Manager you will,
  • Manage the development, production and delivery of internal and external events both from conception to delivery as well as those that are organised by larger event companies.
  • Manage the events time-line to ensure that all time scales, budgets, value for money outcomes and expectations are met.
  • Communicate, maintain and develop stakeholder relationships.
  • Provide advice and support in the production of engaging slide-decks and presentations.
  • Actively contribute to marketing strategies, advising and guiding external coordinators including stakeholders, to devise bespoke proposals.
  • Ensure strategic coordination of engagement at events for senior leaders.
  • Establish key companies and contacts to engage with at external events,
ProfileAs an Events Manager you would have worked within events and conferences. You will be able to plan and execute results with a strong track record in dealing with 500+ attendees.
  • Event management experience (5+ years organising large corporate events)
  • External Stakeholder engagement experience
  • A proven track record in organising - 500+ people across multiple events
  • Good communication and engagement skills
  • Experience of liaising with different teams and organisations
  • Good organisation, planning and able to multi-task
  • Strategic event management experience.
