As a result, we have some new opportunities for your HR career in a business that always puts colleagues at the heart of its strategy.The ER Operations Manager will play an integral part in the growth and delivery of our line manager Advice & Guidance Service. Leading a team of ER Case Management Specialists / ER Advisors to provide the best possible experience when it comes to using theservice.We are looking for ER subject matter experts that will support their team acting as a point of escalation for all cases and queries ensuring advice provided is accurate and in line with our people policies and frameworks. This is a unique opportunity to help shape and continually improve the service we provide, and you will have a fantastic chance to develop your career.Your RoleYou will lead the ER Case Management Specialists / ER Advisors to deliver a proactive, high quality and consistent advisory service for managers In Retail and Home Office. Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencies through ways of working,processes, and systems available with HRSS.Some of your key focuses

  • Setting clear direction for your team and translating this intoday-to-day service delivery, managing operational projects and change whichimpact the area
  • Delivering a positive service experience for our line managers who use the Advice and Guidance service
  • Quality checking and auditing the team to ensure advice and support provided is accurate and of a high standard
  • Working to agreed SLAs and responding to changing business needs
  • Build good relationships and work collaboratively withyour stakeholder groups
  • Maintain a good understanding of wider business activity to anticipate opportunities for Advice and Guidance alongside otheractivities impacting HRSS
  • Use the available data and MI to analyse current trends and inform both tactical and strategic decision making, sharing withstakeholders regularly insights to add value and influence
About You
  • Proven ER subject matter expertise
  • You will have sound judgement and empathy to support the team to determine where there is risk, whilst possessing the commercial acumen to discuss alternative options
  • An inspiring people manageryou will have previous line management experience and a proven track record of leading and developing teams to deliver operational excellence
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent is desirable, however appropriate practical experience will be considered
  • An excellent knowledge of current employment legislation UK and Northern Ireland and of applying this in practice whilst adhering to company policy
  • Ability to coach, mentor and where required challenge and influence line managers and other stakeholders, leading the team to resolve ER cases whilst providing excellent customer service
