Embedded Software EngineerLeeds - Hybrid (1 day a week in office)£55,000 - £65,000 + Private Healthcare, Pension, Holiday, ProgressionThis is an excellent opportunity for a talented Embedded Software Engineer to join a rapidly growing company where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge software on high-level projects.This company has been around for over 30 years designing and producing bespoke systems for engineering applications. They also work on developing a number of items for challenging environments, they are experts in understanding how challenging environmentsaffect complex machinery and design effective solutions to overcome this.In this role you will be responsible for the development of complete embedded software solutions and the design of real-time high-reliability embedded systems. Youll work with electronics engineers on board-level circuit design and debugging and understandcontrol algorithms for switched-mode power electronics.The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role and excellent knowledge of C/C++, bare metal time-critical software design and comms protocols including UART, SPI, CAN, TCP/IP, MODBUS TCP and RS-485. Youll also have knowledge on IDEs, debuggingtools and electronic test equipment.
