Job Description

Simpson Millar is one of the nations leading consumer law firms with exciting growth plans over the next 5 years. Through this growth we are now actively recruiting for a Portal Case Handler to join our Fast Track RTA and EL/PL team.This role can based out either our Leeds or Manchester, and will be on a mostly remote/hybrid working arrangement.Key Responsibilities

  • Dealing with a caseload of fast track RTA and EL / PL cases.
  • Dealing with stages 1 (Investigation), 2 (Negotiation) and 3 (Litigation) of the Claims Portal process.
  • Liaising with client and third parties to process claims within the legislative timeframes.
  • Gathering and submitting any medical evidence to support claims.
  • Negotiation of most beneficial settlement where appropriate.
  • Preparing claim evidence for Court proceedings.
  • It would be desirable if you have experience using Proclaim.
