Electrical Engineer / Electrical Fitter (Switchgear/Transmissions)LeedsCirca £30,000 Per annum (£15 per hour) can be negotiable DOE + Overtime paid at 1.5 and 2.0 x base rate + Pension Contributions.40 hours per week Monday to Friday (Saturday & Sunday Overtime available)Electrical Engineer / Electrical Fitter sought within an established electrical engineering service provider in a period of growth offering training and development with further career progressions opportunities.The role will be suited to electrical engineers with experience working with switchgear and transmission systems. You will have experience with electrical fitting, panel wiring, Refurbishing, Repairing, fault diagnosis and testing equipment.The role will be workshop based and will predominantly be the electrical maintenance, installation, fault finding and refurbishment of all equipment onsite this will consist of high and low voltage switchgears & transformers as well as containerised substations and HV & LV protection studies.The company has been in operation for around 20 years and has enjoyed sustained and continued growth and success. The successful candidate will benefit from internal training as required and further career progression for those who desire it will become available in line with continued company growth plans.The role in Brief:* Electrical Fitter in a workshop based on environment working on Transmission and Switchgear technology. * Fitting, Refurbishing, Repairing, Diagnosing, and testing a broad range of systems* Work on a Monday to Friday basis with regular paid overtime opportunities availableThe Person required:* A skilled and experienced electrical fitter with exposure to HV & LV switchgear and transmission technologies* Electrical certification to NVQ level 2/3 is ideal although all relevant experience will be taken into consideration*Panel wiring experience*Industry related experience / time served in a similar role.
