Job Description

We are delighted to be working with a high growth, multi-award-winning company in the recruitment of an Ecommerce Manager to support them in the achievement of their ambitious growth goals.Responsible for maintaining and growing their online business by developing stronger relationships with existing customers, discovering and growing new business, and identifying new markets and opportunities to explore - this is a fabulous opportunity for the right individual.The Role of the Ecommerce ManagerAs a member of the management team, you will occupy an essential position, responsible for both short and long-term strategy.Working with the Sales and Marketing Team, your skills will help deliver an exceptional customer experience, delivering their vision to be the number one provider within their field, worldwide.To do this, you will need to keep an eye on the latest website developments and technology, the competitors and establish key benchmarks and timescales for improvement. Our client works on a rolling 12-month strategy plan, and you will be a key part of this.Day to day, your data insight and use of analytics will help make improvements to their customer journey, and engage with customers more effectively, driving KPI improvements.To achieve this, you will need a working knowledge of platforms such as Big Commerce, plus other 3rd party software to support their integrated marketing plans.

  • Creating an eCommerce plan that will achieve growth.
  • Driving eCommerce transactions, entering new markets and increasing online sales.
  • Management of the website, SEO knowledge.
  • Able to identify new revenue streams and generating leads.
  • Building on the digital marketing presence for the brand.
  • Experience in improving online user experience.
  • Experience in Marketing and Sales.
  • Coding/HTML, CCS, JavaScript
  • Google Analytics/Merchant Centre/Ads/Search Console.
  • Working with 3rd party software (internet marketing services).
  • Identify and implementing new tools and technology.
  • CIM Qualified or another equivalent qualification
  • The ability to create a digital marketing plan
  • 3 Years’ Experience in eCommerce
  • BigCommerce Knowledge (or similar platforms).
  • Running and managing in PPC & SEO projects.
  • Adobe Photoshop skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
