Job Description

A leading global Insurance and technology provider is currently opening a new office in Leeds City Centre to be there back office support function for their leading London Insurance market clients. They therefore have a number of opportunities to join their leading business in administrative and support based insurance roles.As a Due Diligence and Compliance Co-ordinator you will offer back office administrative support for a range of London market Insurance Brokers focusing predominantly on the onboarding and due diligence checks to ensure they are compliant.You will carry out regular compliance checks and ensure sanctions are correct making sure that all the appropriate details provided by the Insurance Broker are accurate. You will carry out background checks to meet service level agreements working closely with the Insurer Broker Accounting team.Within this key position you will play a pivotal part in the growth of the office and will be closely involved in the onboarding and subsequent training of further team members.Key duties include:

  • Management of process exceptions
  • Quality management
  • Due diligence checks
  • Data management
  • Compliance
  • Workflow management
  • Ownership of relationships with key stakeholders
  • Basic Insurance accounting
  • To be considered you must have proven experience within a business support function within insurance. This could be within insurance accounting, compliance, due diligence, underwriting or broking support. You must have good IT skills especially with excel combined with excellent attention to detail.
