Digital Technology LeadWorking directly for the client based in the North West, focused in the Transportation sector.Location: - Manchester or Leeds officeHome based 2/3 days per week with 2/3 days working in the office.Salary: - £65,000 - £75,000 basic + Benefits packageRole Description: -Working with in the Strategic Transportation team you will be involved with the creation and implementation of digital innovations. This could be across any area of the business from the transportation hub interfacing with the passengers, how the information is communicated, how the routes are planned and maintained, pricing structure and payment methods, it really does cover the entire business.You will be the lead on the co-ordination of digital initiatives from the concept to business plan to projects being developed to deliver digital technologies. You need to have extensive knowledge and experience of leading digital projects within an organisation. This could be across any area including payment, information communication (technological and business) process architecture, analysis or change programme.As well as the projects element you will need to be confident with dealing with various stakeholders both internal and external. Supporting the internal stakeholders create the business case regarding the digital element of the project. Then the external stakeholders with the clients such as DFT, Network Rail, Local Authorities etc..Having a mix of technical capabilities, Leadership qualities and the tenacious ability to make difficult decisions. Ultimately your decision making, and recommendations will influence others to achieve required outcomes and ensure robust strategy/business case is developed.Experience
