About the RoleAs the Digital Channels Manager you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering our digital first internal communications strategy. You will work as an integral part of the Digital Channels team and will manage a team of colleagues to deliver and develop our digital channels, including our intranet platform. This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to manage complex delivery across multiple stakeholders at various levels across the Asda and Walmart business.Day to day you will be accountable for the project management of all communication roadmap developments, including Poppulo, Stratacache, event solutions and app development. You will create detailed work plans that identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete a project and ensure effective communication is in place to keep stakeholders and end users up to date on new and existing digital channels.You will need to build excellent relationships with your stakeholders to guarantee intranet content is provided in a timely and efficient manner, and to ensure that the digital channel developments are on track and appropriately tested and supported by Asda Technology.Alongside this you will manage a team of three co-ordinators, prioritising workloads and ensuring all work is delivered to a high standard and within the agreed timeframes. In tandem with your team members you will deliver technical training for systems used within digital communication channels and be a key point of contact for colleagues across the business.About YouStrong experience working within a content management system (e.g. Adobe Experience Manager, Sharepoint) to create user-centred content, and in using design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud) will be essential. A passion for UX and content design principles and excellent project management experience will ensure you are able to hit the ground running. As youll be working within the internal communication team youll need great communication skills, and the ability to organise, plan and prioritise in a fast paced and demanding environment. Ideally you will have experience managing a team, and strong inter-personal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
