  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify and develop new housing opportunities, including acquisitions, regeneration projects, and new build developments.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and financial appraisals to inform decision-making and project planning.
  • Lead the development and delivery of housing projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities, developers, contractors, and consultants, to facilitate successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and funding applications to support project funding and stakeholder engagement activities.
Profile
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as urban planning, real estate, or housing development.
  • Proven experience in a development role within the social housing sector, with a strong understanding of housing policy, finance, and development processes.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and funding mechanisms related to social housing development in England.
