We work collaboratively across 16 countries to collect, connect and understand complex data, so that governments, nation states, armed forces and commercial businessescan unlock digital advantage in the most demanding environments.About the roleWere looking for a hands on Data Engineer with a deep understanding of PL/SQL and ETL to join our delivery teams working on some of the most critical and rewarding technology programmes around.You will be based at our Leeds Engineering Centre with flexible hybrid working options.Were an innovative tech consultancywe deliver solutions to help protect people and enhance the digital world we live in. Our solutions combine large scale data exploitation, intelligence grade security and complex solutions integration. We provide servicesto many sectors including Central and International Governments, Financial Services, Defence, Space and Telecommunications.What youll be doingYoull work on a variety of projectsboth large and smallworking collaboratively with people both in your teams and the wider business, to deliver well designed, testable and efficient code. You will bring an open mind in your approach, wanting to findthe right tools and solutions for the problem in hand.Its an opportunity to work on some of the most rewarding projects in techwere not exaggerating when we say our work saves lives and changes how we live.About youYoull be proficient with SQL/PLSQL and will have demonstrable experience of successfully designing and implementing data migration and post production reviews from Oracle or another relational database. Youll be familiar with a variety of methodologiesand tools such as Scrum/ Agile/ XP/ Kanban.You will also have experience of:

  • Debugging data issues
  • Performance tuning and indexing
  • Data migration
