We are looking to recruit a Data Engineer for a Public Sector client working on a 4 months contract! The role is a remote opportunity for now, however the candidate should be close to Leeds.Your profile:* Strong knowledge and development experse in using data management tools such as SSIS, R, Python, SAS DI Studio, or other advanced industry standard tools.* Significant data management and optimisation expertise, covering: process design; code development (using languages such as R, Python, SQL or SAS); data architecture; testing and assurance; and reference/ master data management.* Experience of maintaining dashboards in Power BI, Tableau or other BI tools.* Experience of developing and maintaining code and processes using languages and tools such as SAS, SPSS, STATA, Hadoop, Splunk, Kibana and JavaScript.* Ability to maintain code and processes using software such as Python, R or Hadoop.Whats in for youFlexibility - The public sector has been quick to adapt to the new demands for flexible working hours.Career progression - Gaining work experience in the public sector will make it easier for you to get future jobs in various government departments.
