The Diocese of Leeds is embarking on an exciting programme of transformation which seeks to support and enable our 600 churches to move forward in their mission to be good news in their communities. Barnabas: Encouraging Confidence will use data in anevermore sophisticated and humane way to help us identify where support can be most effectively targeted, and how we can improve our use of resources.The successful post holder will creatively bring together existing data (for example demographic, financial and statistics for mission) enabling both the central diocese and parishes to understand what is happening in our churches and how we can plan forthe future. They will also work with the strategic programme manager to design new datasets, create information dashboards, and establish tools for data analysis that will help us to measure and improve the impact of our church support programme.This is an exciting opportunity for an information/ data analyst who has a record of delivering insights that can support and drive change in a diverse setting. Our transformation programme is seeking to enable spiritual and numerical growth in our churchesthrough supportive measures that release missional energy.As data analyst the successful postholder will play an integral part in identifying the right support for the right place. You will combine three areas of strength; strong analytical skills to get to the heart of the issues, good communication skills topresent your insights in a clear and understandable way, and a high degree of emotional intelligence and adaptability. It is important that the postholder will be able to engage constructively with others, as they respond to your insights and data, and asour diocesan vision, teams and programmes develop over time.The post is for a fixed term of three years and is 35 hours per week but open to part time options.The package includes a competitive salary, flexi-time scheme, an 8% non-contributory pension with an additional 5% matched contributions, hybrid working (50%), and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and four customary days a year (between Christmasand New Year).Closing date for Applications: 7 December 2022Interviews: 15/16 December 2022
