Job Description

Customer Service ManagerSalary £25,000 + performance related bonus + benefitsFull time PermanentLeeds City CentreJames Hareare a very well established (1865), family-run company based in Leeds city centre and is Britains leading silk specialist. It is still owned and run by the Hare family, producing luxury textiles for the demanding world of fashionand interiors. Firm favourites with leading designers and decorators, James Hare luxurious fabrics are famous worldwide.As theCustomer Service Manageryou will manage six direct reportees who are there to provide help and assistance to B2B customers. You will also be responsible for the following:

  • Daily management of the sales team to ensure exceptional customer service and work flow
  • Recruiting new team members and oversee training
  • Carry out staff appraisals and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Maintaining customer relationships and improving response and delivery times
  • Creating ongoing efficiencies and strategy for your department
  • Resolving any service problems and customer complaints
  • Creating and presenting regular report to senior management
  • Processing customers orders and dealing with customers via telephone and email
  • Ensuring that key accounts are consistently operating at a high level
The successfulCustomer Service Managerwill have previous management experience of at least 2 years and know how to motivate and get the best out of people. If you have an interest in this exciting industry (interior fashion/ fabrics &design) that will be advantageous but not essential.You will also have the following:
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving skills and practical computer skills
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, telephone and mail management systems
You should be switched on and dynamic in nature, approachable and driven, with the ability to help push this company onwards and upwards into the future.Benefits include; 20 days holiday plus BH (increases with service), flexi time, 37.5 hour week Monday to Friday.Experience:Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
