The RoleCustomer Service AdvisorThis role is working with JPS in LEEDS as part of the STARK Group. We are a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe. What will I be doingFirst and foremost, we always want to recruit talented people that align well with our values and way of working. Experience within our industry is not essential, we are committed to providing you with the full tools and support required to carry out yourrole within Jewson JPS.Your day to day duties will be to:
  • Dealing with customers on the trade counter in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Processing orders, purchasing stock and taking stock levels
  • Prepare quotations and follow up on them
  • Maintaining high presentation standards in the working environment ensuring it is always kept clean, tidy and presentable
  • Using forklift trucks and other equipment to prepare stock for delivery, but dont worry full training will be provided
  • Accurately and efficiently identifying and picking stock to fulfil customer orders
  • Maintain stock levels and regular stock checks
  • Pick items to fulfil customer orders
  • Assist in the loading of operatives vans and serving
  • Unloading of supplier vehicles using a FLT where needed (training provided)
  • Check incoming stock deliveries and put away in appropriate areas
  • Learning products and processes in order to deliver a great customer experience
  • Make Health & safety a priority and keep yourself and others safe at work
