  • Follow established procedures and can deviate when needed and requires only general supervision.
  • Customer Service is the primary function, handling customer enquiries and problems via telephone, but may include having to escalate a complaint.
  • Will monitor, verify, and edit data during the input process.
  • Variety of data entry tasks.
  • Blocking and re issuing lost/stolen /compromised cards.
  • Verification and related duties for processing disputed and fraudulent transactions, including any exceptions and/or other associated transactions.
  • Processing Balance Transfers & Money Transfers.
  • May monitor systems to detect possible fraudulent behaviour related to credit card usage and contact card holders to investigate possible fraud. Predominantly routine, but may require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Customer service or contact centre experience preferable.
  • Knowledge of banking & association rules and regulations is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills - e.g. oral and written.
  • Customer service skills required. Requires sufficient knowledge to comfortably deal with customers and challenge some of the details they provide.
  • Able to multitask.
