Job Description

French Speaking Customer Service AdvisorLocation: Leeds Salary: £27,186 pa (inc a night allowance of £1,666) + Great benefits + progression*Immediate start* Are you fluent in French and English (written and verbal)Do you have previous customer service skillsAre you flexible with working hoursThis is a great opportunity to be part of a new team and make the most of your linguistic and problem-solving ability as well as your confident communication skills and excellent attention to detail. Tasked with managing transport services for customers in France as well as coordinating and liaising with English teams and colleagues, main responsibilities will include:

  • Respond to all French operational customer requirements by booking emergency transport services within pricing agreements
  • Manage, monitor and track all transport services in operation using an internal system
  • Record and escalate any issues that may affect the safe or timely running of an operation, working within agreed KPIs
  • Liaise with French Operators to provide updates and information in line with SLAs to ensure the effective running on all operations
  • Manage the provision of stand-by vehicles and record any changes
  • Completion of paperwork involved in the day to day running of the department
  • Work closely with all other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the business
Please note: Although fluency in French is essential, the use of your language skills will form approximately 30% of the role. All other duties and communication will be conducted in English.Hours:This will be a 24hr operation with likely shifts being between 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6pmYou will work 6 days on shifts, then have 3 days off. For example: 3 shifts of 06:00am - 14:00 followed by 3 shifts of 14:00 - 22:00 and 3 days off.The Nights shift 22:00 - 06:00am would ordinarily be 3 shifts a month.Applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate to a high standard in both French and English, strong customer service skills, the ability to work with limited supervision and enjoy working within a small team.Benefits include full training, modern city centre location, free travel pass (after probation), share options, life assurance, pension builder, dress down, kitchen facilities, pay progression and opportunities to develop a rewarding career.If the above is of interest, click to apply!
