Department: Xyla Health & WellbeingLocation: South Parade, LeedsSalary: £18,000 + monthly bonusWorking hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm+ 1 Saturday every 4 weeks and 2x 11am-7pm shifts every 4 weeksAbout usPart of Acacium Group,XylaHealth & Wellbeing has been selected to deliver the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP) and Diabetes Remission Programmes (LCD & REWIND)across the UK.NHS England, Public Health England and Diabetes UK have committed toimproving efforts to prevent diabetes, and this collaborative programme aims to help the 5 million people who are at risk of developing the disease. The Programme comprises of physical activity and dietary components, underpinned by behaviour change techniques.About the opportunityWere looking for an organised, enthusiastic and professional individual to join our Patient Support Team in delivering exceptional customer service to the service users on our National Diabetes Prevention Programme. You will be responsible for providingtelephone and administration support to our service users who are initially joining the programme as well as those who are already enrolled.What you will be doing

  • Booking one-to-one and group appointments for service users
  • Ensure service users receive excellent customer care by demonstrating empathy and on going support at all times
  • Supporting the service user engagement strategy to ensure adherence to the programme and minimise drop-outs
  • Supporting with office administration tasks as required and including monitoring of shared mailboxes
  • Handling sensitive data with attention to detail, and maintaining accurate service user records
We believe to be successful within this role, you will need to have
  • Previous experience in a customer service or telephone environment
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Strong IT skills
