Job Description

Have you ever wanted to work within the civil service Are you confident in your customer service and administration skills We are looking for a skilled Customer Service Advisor to join the Collection and Enforcement team with our client, the Ministry ofJustice.This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation that offers training and a great working environment.Location: Regional Payment Centre, Ailsa House, Morley, Leeds LS27 7ZTSalary: £11.28ph (annually £21,702)Hours: Monday - Friday, Full time 37 hours a week (9-5, hours can be flexible)This is a long term on-going temporary positionRole OverviewThe role will entail basic administration duties processing claims/fines of driving offences onto an internal police database. Working within a busy department you will need to adapt to a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities include:

  • To deal effectively with public and internal enquires over the telephone.
  • Settling payment rates for unpaid fines for customers via the phone
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail
  • Use a range of computer software including word, excel and outlook and internal IT system (full training provided)
  • Transfer of documents to other courts
  • Initiate enforcement action
The successful candidates will have:
  • Good telephone manner
  • Work well under pressure
  • Be able to communicate effectively and efficiently
  • Administrative skills
  • Customer service experience
