Job Description

Customer Service Advisor - BT OpenreachHere at Tech Mahindra, we have a great opportunity for people to join our fantastic customer service team at BT Openreach.The customer service team are first and foremost brand ambassadors who provide a professional and engaging experience to BT Openreach customers. You are the voice of the business and therefore you will need to ensure your personality, professionalism andengaging personality comes through in the form of exceptional customer experience.The Role:As a customer service advisor, you are responsible for providing a quick, effortless, and exceptional customer service experience to BT Openreach business customers via a variety of platforms such as: telephony, live chat, case management or back office.Whatever the platform you are working on, you will work in our vibrant contact centre in Leeds and will receive full training on:

  • Live Chat: Dealing with customers via live chat platform
  • Case Management: dealing with customer queries via email / telephone
  • Back Office: dealing with task management for customers via order processing
  • Telephony: dealing with customer queries via inbound and outbound telephone calls
About you:If you have a personable and engaging personality, we can teach you the rest!In addition, we can also provide you with the platform to build a strong career within a fantastic global business who will provide you the opportunity to RISE to where your potential is capable!If you are ambitious, driven and are looking for an exciting challenge this could be the opportunity you are looking for!Salary:£21,450 p/a basic salary £11 p/hr for the first 6 months on successful completion of 6mth contract your salary will move to £12 p/hr £23,400 p/a basic salary and contract extension of a further 6mth-1year will be given# In addition, you will have the opportunity to work overtime if you wish to do so throughout the year and your hourly rate.What we are looking for:
  • A minimum of 6 months customer service experience (any industry sector)
  • You will have a natural passion for delivering exceptional customer service and be able to build rapport quickly with customers regardless of the platform
  • You will have good listening skills and be intuitive to identify and react to how customers are feeling and be able to respond in a positive and engaging manner
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Good spelling and grammar
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to write non-standard responses using conversational language, as well as applying the right tone, demonstrating a range of interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work to targets but ensure customer experience is your primary focus
  • Ability to multi-task and use various systems whilst engaging with customers over the phone, on live chat or over email
Training:
  • 3 weeks training Mon- Fri 9am to 5:30pm
