Job Description

Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for their next career move Dont miss this opportunity to join a well-established, family owned company in Leeds.Credit ControllerLeeds, LS11Salary c£25,000 per annumMonday - Friday, 9am-5pmOur client has a vacancy for an experienced Credit Controller to join their well-established, family owned, Leeds based SME, due to retirement in December.In this vital role you will be responsible for overseeing circa 500 live accounts. The client is looking for somebody experienced in a similar role who can hit the ground running. You will initially be working alongside the current Credit Controller to ensurea smooth handover.Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Reviewing customer credit limits.
  • Liaising with customers to ensure debtor days are maintained/improved.
  • Posting and allocating receipts by way of Bacs, cheques and credit cards.
  • Dealing with customer queries and efficiently resolving issues.
The ideal candidateYou will be a key player within the organisation dealing with all departments, including Sales, Operations and Warehouse.
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite or other ERP system is essential.
  • Knowledge of invoice finance would be an advantage.
  • A working knowledge of exports and VAT is desirable.
  • Experience of setting up direct debits for collection is desirable.
