Job Description

Bridge Recruitment Ltd is currently looking for a Credit Controller for their clients rapidly growing business based in Leeds! Working within a thriving company, youll take a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors.Whats in it for you

  • £23,000 - £25,000 per annum
  • 40 hour working week (08:30 - 17:00 with a 30 minute lunch break, Monday to Friday)

Your new role as a Credit Controller
  • Chasing outstanding payments by phone and email, dealing with customers queries and effectively resolving issues
  • Setting up direct debit payments and processing card payments
  • Maintaining accurate and concise note on internal systems
  • Preparing statements, copy invoices, payments schedules and other customer documentation
  • Identifying customers that default on payment terms and taking the appropriate course of action depending on the stage and background of debt
  • Where required, escalating problem accounts to the Credit Control Manager
About you
  • Excellent telephone manner, able to adapt a "firm but fair" approach
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, patient and able to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated, persistent and determined
  • Knowledge of legal procedures
  • Knowledge of Salesforce/FinancialForce desirable but not essential
