Job Description

Credit ControllerLeeds Office - Hybrid Working - Immediate StartSalary - £25,000My client is a leading provider of legal services to the health, social care, housing, and emergency services sectors. The firm has a turnover of £50m and around 550 staff across 5 offices nationally. I am currently recruiting for a Credit Controller whois a team player, focused with good attention to detail, ideally with previous experience in the legal or finance sector.Responsibilities as a Credit Controller:

  • Responsible for proactive collection of cash from a ledger of clients to drive down levels of debt
  • Work with fee earners and partners to overcome barriers to payment
  • Provide regular updates to management to highlight key issues
  • Work closely with Billing and Cashiering teams to resolve queries
Skills of a Credit Controller:
  • Knowledge of collecting from clients in the public sector
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and manage own workload
  • Able to communicate assertively but diplomatically
  • Numerically confident
  • Team player
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Intermediate Excel and IT skills
  • 1 years experience as a credit controller required
