Job Description

Are you a Credit Control Specialist who has excellent people skills and enjoys building relationships with customers and colleagues If yes then our client is looking for you to join them in their Leeds Office on a permanent contract.This Hybrid role is to be part of an evolving Group Credit Control team and will compliment an existing team of credit controllers based onshore & offshore. You will be required to work 2-3 days per week in the office, the remainder remotely.The main duties of the role are to work with the various business units in the resolution of queries ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner and that all areas for risk are escalated and resolved. This role will also be responsible for providing creditcontrol services to achieve maximum cash collections. Areas of responsibility may change to ensure that this important team are able to achieve the best results.What youll be doing:

  • Investigating, resolving disputes and root cause analysis
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders
  • All invoice queries to be recorded in accounting software and escalated to the business units for resolution
  • Credit Management of various customers as determined by the Manager
  • All customer communications to be accurately recorded in accounting software
  • Hold conference calls with internal stakeholders to discuss any issues relating to collections
  • Escalate legal cases in line with Credit Policy
  • Visits to clients and/or business units when necessary
  • Reconciliation of customer accounts and unallocated cash balances to ensure ledgers are accurate
  • Perform credit checking where required and any other credit control related duties required

  • Computer literate with good EXCEL skills and SAP experience is desirable
  • Ability to be flexible within this role
