Job Description

Axon Moore are thrilled to be working alongside a highly profiting, well established and fast growing South Leeds based company as they look to expand their dynamic finance team through the recruitment of a temporary credit controller.This business offers a fast paced, friendly and supportive day to day working life, as well as a culture that supports the development and values its employees. The key person for this role will be someone with existing credit control experience, who is looking for immediate work.The Job:

  • Investigating customer queries and ensuring they are monitored, reviewed, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Chasing customers for payments.
  • Cash application
  • Managing aged debt reports
  • Assisting with daily banking and allocating customer receipts.
  • Negotiating payment plans with customers.
  • Improving controls and processes to add value and drive efficiency.
  • Daily Cash Application and Customer payment postings with Remittances
  • Sending Copy Invoices
  • Sending Copy Statements
  • Emailing Standard Overdue Letters
The Person:
  • Minimum of one year’s credit control knowledge.
  • Experience in working with SAP would be an added advantage, but not essential.
  • Disciplined and organised with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to see tasks through to completion in a timely manner.
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and capable of building effective relationships.
  • Positive and committed approach to continuous improvements.
  • An enthusiastic and motivated individual.
  • Strong willingness to learn
  • Ability to manage own work load
The Benefits:
  • £25,000 - £30,000
  • Hybrid working (2 days in office)
  • Flexible working around core hours (10 - 15:30)
