Job Description

Job Title: Course LeaderDigital and ITPosition: Full time, permanentLocation: West YorkshireSalary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annumREED Further Education are recruiting an experienced Computer Science professional for a Course LeaderDigital and IT position based in West Yorkshire.Our client is looking for two Course Leaders join them in a period of continuing growth and development. The department has been graded by Ofsted as Good with Outstanding qualities.The successful Course LeaderDigital and IT will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Ability to teach across different courses which may include cyber security, programming languages such as Python, project management, networking, social media, and other emerging technologies.
  • Teaching experience, in the classroom and online, in relevant subject areas (PGCE teaching placements/experience would also qualify here) which demonstrates active learning and differentiated teaching styles.
  • A passion and drive for improving teaching & learning quality through moderation
  • Hold a L5 Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE)
  • Relevant highest-level vocational qualification or degree in teaching subject
  • English and Maths at Level 2 or above and a willingness to improve in one or both disciplines to level 3 or above
