Job Description

Contracts AdministratorSalary:Circa £24K per annum + benefitsDivision:ServiceLocation:Leeds basedDue to our continued expansion programme, based on our ever-growing blue chip client portfolio. We now have a position available for an experiencedContracts Administrator, to join our team at Union Industries based in Hunslet, Leeds.We are a market leading Employee Owned manufacturer of bespoke High Speed Doors, and due to our continued success, we are now looking to recruit a dynamic individual to join our team.The Contracts Administrator role will involve:

  • PQQs (form completion for customers and contractors alike)
  • H&S and RAMS (Implementation and keeping up to date files and updating templates)
  • MHE (Arranging equipment hire and creating purchase orders)
  • FLEET (Arranging all repairs needed, checking MOT/ Services are in date)
  • TRAINING (ensuring engineers qualifications are kept up to date, maintaining the training matrixto include toolbox talks).
  • CALLOUTS (assisting colleagues with invoicing, along with other requirements for the Installation and Service department).
  • LIFTING EQUIPMENT & ACCESSORIES (keeping records of lifting equipment, test certificates and diarising when update needed)
  • LOGS (assistance with the telephone log, quote log, answering incoming department calls & taking messages)
  • PRE-INSTALLATION CHECKS (ringing customers to check everything is in place before an installation begins)
  • To have direct involvement in achieving any accreditation needed by the Company e.g. ISO9001, Achilles, CHAS and to administer this going forward.
  • General office duties
The Contracts Administrator will have:
  • A relevant H&S Qualification - IOSH or equivalent (Beneficial but not essential)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient administrative skills, including Excel spreadsheets and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to communicate effectively within various Departments of our Company
  • Experience in working under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8:45am17.15pm & Friday 08.45am16.15pm.Also the following excellent benefits:- Non-contributory Pension Scheme.
