Job Description

Contract Manager (Civil Strategic Partners)The Contract Manager (Civil Strategic Partners) will be responsible for the commercial management of the Strategic Partner Framework Agreements which supports the delivery of the Capital Investment Programmes for Major and Minor Civil and M&E works. Their HQ based in Leeds City Centre requires the Commercial Specialist to ensure that robust contract management processes and procedures are developed together with the production of accessible and accurate framework reports to support internal and externalparties to maximise the benefits of working collaboratively to outperform investment category outcomes.Key Accountabilities include:* Develop and maintain a dynamic comprehensive record of all framework agreements with the Capital Programme Delivery teams and Partners to ensure compliance with commitments* Collaborate with capital delivery teams to support the process of calling off contracts from Frameworks* Develop a dynamic supply chain map to give the business full visibility of its ecosystem of suppliers contributing to the delivery of the capital programme, enabling supplier capacity and capability monitoring and reporting* Responsible for providing contract management guidance and training* Develop and maintain a Framework shared services collaboration protocol* Supporting the Framework Manager to develop and track the implementation of service improvement plans where underperformance triggers Framework contractual remedies * Financial Framework and contract budget monitoring and reporting* Responsible for negotiating and implementing any variations to Framework Agreements, including supplier insolvency impacts; changes in ownership and/or framework extensions * Negotiation, reporting and approval of Partner resource to support the delivery of the Capital Programme* Administration of NEC contracts* Management of the contract administration system* Act as a Commercial and Contract Management team representative* Establish strategic relationships with internal stakeholders and key suppliers to maximise mutual long-term benefits* Provide advice, training and support to the business to drive compliance and enhance commercial awareness across Programme Delivery * Ability to adopt Partnering principles and ways of working to deliver win - win outcomes* Drive continuous improvement in business as usual; to actively seek out and take advantage of opportunities to streamline and digitise activities* Support Programme Delivery with ensuring Framework procurement strategies which include mini competitions provide financial benefit, risk mitigation and process efficiency through the application of whole life costing principles* Support the Framework Manager in developing the commercial model strategy* Responsible for advising on the procurement of new services, works and suppliesKnowledge and Skills Required Essential: * Professional Qualification in Procurement and Supply Chain Management or relevant construction industry related qualification e.g. RICS* Experienced in managing NEC contracts in a commercial environment* Experienced in commercial contract management* Ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships* Experience of compiling, assessment, interpretation and communication of complex data* Able to communicate and engage people at all levels cross business and external* Clearly demonstrates ethical values and behaviours* Can work in a team and manage own workloadSalary:* £45,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience) + 25 days hols + 8 BH + Pension * Civil Capital Projects* Contract Manager (Civil Strategic Partners)* Leeds, West Yorkshire Hybrid WorkingIf you feel this opportunity is suitable and you match the skills required, then please apply and contact Carl Walker at Elevation Recruitment Group.Elevation Recruitment Groups Procurement and Supply Chain division work with a vast range of businesses across Yorkshire and Humberside, Lincolnshire and East Midlands regions.
