This leading L200 firm who are considered to be one of the leading expert practices outside of London are looking to add aCommercial Property Lawyer to their established Property Department in central Leeds.This is an exciting opportunity to join a team who are leaders in their field. You will be encouraged to pursue your interests and passions and define your career with us.This opportunity would suit a solicitor with 3 or more years PQE, but the workload can be tailored to the level of experience dependent on the successful candidate. However, you must be comfortable largely running your own caseload. The expectation would bethat the Commercial Property Lawyer would deal with commercial property transactions across the department, although a candidate who wanted to focus on one or more of our niche areas could be accommodated.You will be required to handle a wide range of property work, including but not limited to:- Sales and purchases- Non-contentious landlord and tenant- Secured borrowing and lending- Development sites including ancillary documents such as easements, options, and pre-emption arrangements etc- Regular property work including title queries and registration workPrevious experience, knowledge, or a real interest in any of the niche aspects of their work, such as landed estates, trusts, and charities would be an advantage, but is not essential.
