Job Description

Our client are a leading industrial business who are extremely well known nationally. They are a supportive and progressive employer who are looking for a Commercial Operations Assistant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. They are a downto earth, friendly and all round great company to work for who have fantastic benefits including 25 days holiday, life and travel insurance and many others.Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all customer contacts via phone, email or online platforms, and clear distribution of calls throughout the business.
  • Housekeeping of office files both hard copy and server.
  • Liaise clearly with Technical for machine specification to produce quotations, and service for commissioning prices and dates.
  • Manage and request quotations and place orders.
  • Raise POs (For flights/equipment/transport/equipment).
  • Responsible for updating SAP with all relevant information and documentation.
  • Prepare reports for won/lost orders.
  • Promote and deliver a customer centric culture.
  • Work closely with Commercial Manager to coach team members to improve performance and delivery of service.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and quality of the knowledge base.
  • Develop, grow and maintain professional working relationships with all internal stakeholders and customer equivalents.
  • Attend meetings with other Operational Managers as required.
  • Other ad-hoc duties commensurate with the role or advised by Commercial Manager.
  • Ensure that the companys health and safety policy and procedures are adhered to.
Experience, skills set and/or qualifications required
  • Customer Service
  • Good administrative skills
  • Technical customer interaction
  • Retaining and relaying technical information
  • Good MS office
  • Can build rapport easily
