Job Description

Are you a highly motivated individual with a strong mix of commercial acumen, interpersonal and influencing skillsCan you operate at a senior level and have the capability to engage with customers, suppliers and partners to further the commercial success of the businessHave you a collaborative approach with great communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to prioritise and possess good attention to detailRole responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing the Commercial Strategy specific to the expanding business area.
  • Identifying opportunities to maximise income and margin (commercial value creation) in the business Sector.
  • Building and managing effective, lasting relationships (internal and external) to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Providing commercial assurance through forecasting and identification of issues giving rise to commercial risk
  • Ensuring potential disputes are identified and resolved as early as possible to mitigate scale.
  • Liaising and developing long term relationships with the directors, senior managers and others as required in client, supply chain and other partner organisations.
  • Identifying customers and researching leads. New business target development.
  • Ensuring that all commercial reporting is completed accurately and on time reflecting all known and reasonably anticipated events.
  • Ensuring the effective management of Clippers commercial risk is undertaken throughout the business operations.
  • An ability to work alone as well as in the creation, leading and participation in multi-disciplinary teams to achieve individual, team and corporate goals.
