Job Description

Commercial Manager -Leeds (Temporary remote) - Contract- £400 p/d DOEARM are currently recruiting for a number of Commercial positions to join a central Government organisation in Leeds. The contract will be running for a minimum of 6 months and will be working remotely initially.The Commercial Managers will be responsible for assessing the existing commercial landscape and looking at the impact on programme delivery and designing and implementing approaches which ensure effective delivery of the right outcome for the department.Requirements:

  • Qualified purchasing professional (MCIPS)
  • Member of, or studying for membership of, the International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM)
  • Relevant degree, such as in law or finance, MBA
  • Related industry experience
  • An ability to apply commercial skills to manage and mitigate contractual risks and issues;
  • An understanding of financial elements within contracts including prices/costs and supplier margins
  • Experience of leading the development and embedding of contract management across large, complex organisations.
  • Experience of working with key stakeholders to build and manage supplier relationships
