Job Description

Commercial ManagerOffice basedPAYE £50,000Company DescriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen to work with a leading steelwork company. They are looking for a career driven Commercial Manager to help maximise financial opportunities by negotiating contracts and analysing client agreements. The ideal candidate willwill be someone who has a strong Quantity Surveyor background.Key Responsibilities

  • Business system rate management, ensuring current pricing both internal and external supplier pricing is accurate and up to date for all product lines
  • Operating within the full commercial life cycle across multiple projects
  • Assist with forecasts, budgeting, trend analysis and challenge the business for variances between actuals and original business plan, referencing business KPIs
  • work collaboratively with the construction team to support on all cost and commercial activity
The Candidate
  • Commercial strategy development skills
  • Experience with budgeting/forecasting, warranty agreements, financial accounts/financial agreements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Steelwork background (Desirable)
  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Experience in managing and business development
