We are recruiting for this very innovative private equity backed property company based 30 mins South of Manchester near Alderley Edge. This would be a mix of remote working and indeed in the office, paying £70,000-85,000 + Bens The role would be the number 1 in finance, Financial Controller. In time this person could become the FD and in time there could be equity. This is a disruptive business that is growing very rapidly. They are seeking their first in house FC, that will grow a the finance function, from insourcing it to putting in place a best in class function. The role is highly commercial and would involve building models for investment appraisals, succinct MI for the external investors. Being able to present the business to external investors, but also strong on putting together the statutory accounts, taxation, payroll and the invoicing side. We are looking for someone who wants to be a proper business partner. This isnt just an FC role, it involves a lot more. The individual must know how to build financial models and work with a close knit small team. The role reports directly to the CEO and the investment house. Its a fun environment and a business that has grown quickly. The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified from an audit background, then have moved into a Finance Manager/Controller role, ideally in a business that has assets, property, construction, energy. Someone who has a commercial edge and is ambitious for growth, but can also roll their sleeves up. Interviews by Zoom next week.
